Machinist Technician

SoilPro Pty Ltd, trading as Agmaster, is a leading manufacturer and distributor of seeding systems, presswheels, and harrows for broadacre cropping in Australia.

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist to join our small manufacturing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our machinery and equipment.

• Program and set up machinery to meet production deadlines.
• Design and create jigs to improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Maintain components to precise drawing tolerances.
• Monitor consumables levels and advise the production manager on ordering requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery according to the manufacturer's schedule.
• Train and instruct personnel on correct procedures for loading, running, and checking components.
• Clean machinery at the end of each shift.

• Relevant training qualifications and at least 3 years of working experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret production processes.
• Capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Initiative and pride in the quality of work.
• Problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach.
• Current driver's license.
