Senior Hydropower Engineer/Dam Safety Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Dam Safety Engineer/FERC Independent Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing inspections and engineering assessments of dams and hydraulic structures, as well as conducting engineering analyses and evaluations. Your expertise in designing new and rehabilitating existing hydraulic structures will be crucial in ensuring the safety and integrity of our clients' assets.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil or structural engineering, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. You will have a proven track record of leading design projects, developing design options, and preparing contract documents. Additionally, you will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
As a Senior Dam Safety Engineer/FERC Independent Consultant, you will be expected to stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulations, including FERC's Part 12 Dam Safety Program. You will also be responsible for mentoring and supervising junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in their roles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
