About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Australia. As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of our software products, working closely with our team of experts to design, develop, and test software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design, development, and testing of critical software components within the BronzeWing framework.
  • Collaborate with our teaming companies to integrate 3rd party software solutions.
  • Work within projects that utilize the BronzeWing framework to ensure configuration with the baseline and meet project goals.
  • Support the agile development of complex technical solutions proposed by team Subject Matter Experts.
  • Analyze software requirements, design, and test rationale.
  • Resolve problems identified during software development, integration, and testing.
  • Support planning and conducting usability studies to evaluate UI/UX designs.
About You
  • Strong experience in software engineering methodologies and techniques in a web-based development domain.
  • Excellent ability to apply experiential judgement and lateral approaches to complex problem solving.
  • Experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, SCSS, and web development toolsets.
  • Experience in layout design, wireframing, typography, and photo editing to create compelling digital assets.
  • Experience in designing web and mobile solutions.
  • Agile software development experience (desirable).
  • Experience with Golang, Python, Rust (desirable).
  • Experience with Cloud Orchestration Platforms and containerisation stacks (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, OpenStack) (desirable).
  • Experience with Gimp, Photoshop (desirable).
