Merchandising Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking motivated individuals for casual merchandising roles in the retail industry.

This role is with a leading bakery product manufacturer, Tip Top Bakeries.

The successful candidate will be employed by Chandler Macleod and work on an ongoing casual basis with the potential to move to a permanent role with our client in future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend local supermarkets to manage stock of our valued client
• Work to a planogram to ensure optimal product placement
• Remove any damaged or expired stock to maintain product quality
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of stock to meet company standards
• Check use by dates to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
• Rotate stock to ensure freshness and availability
• Update paperwork to track inventory and sales
• Fulfill shelves with fresh products such as bread and crumpets

Requirements:

• MUST have your own car and valid driver's license
• Flexibility is a must, be able to work varying shifts/days including weekends where required
• Have a good work ethic and be physically fit
• Able to start immediately
