Role Responsibilities

Are you seeking a fulfilling career in early childhood intervention? We are looking for a skilled Early Years Specialist to join our diverse team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education experts. In this capacity, you will:

  • Provide support in collaboration with families to help them reach their objectives, utilizing evidence-based best practices.
  • Conduct assessments and observations, applying your knowledge of child development to customize support options for each child and family.
  • Empower families, caregivers, and professionals, enhancing their skills and confidence to assist children in their daily lives through your coaching abilities.
  • Connect children and families with community resources to ensure their inclusion and participation in chosen activities and settings.
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions, developmental milestones, and objectives within the NDIA business system.
  • Assist families in navigating the application, implementation, and funding processes associated with NDIS plans.

Qualifications
  • A degree in Speech Pathology.
  • In-depth knowledge of child development and the ability to recognize developmental challenges.
  • A proven history of supporting families and children with developmental delays or disabilities, including effective strategies for home and other settings.
  • Thorough understanding of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and best practices in early childhood intervention, as well as the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
