Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team in a key role focused on compliance and reporting. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of financial information. Your responsibilities will include assisting with various finance and accounting tasks such as government reporting, account reconciliation, variance analysis, and rebate calculations.

This position offers the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of financial statements and gain valuable insights into business operations. You will contribute to financial analysis and make a real impact on the business by working collaboratively with the Finance team.

Your role will involve:

  • Accurate Financial Processing: Ensure precise processing and documentation of all financial transactions to maintain integrity and accuracy in financial records.
  • Closing Procedures: Assist in the monthly and yearly closing procedures by preparing necessary journals and reports, ensuring timely and accurate financial close.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Support the reconciliation of balance sheets to ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are addressed promptly.
  • Payroll Assistance: Aid in the processing of payroll and payroll tax, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
  • Government Reporting: Assist in the preparation of BAS, PAYG, FBT, and other government reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Audit Support: Provide required documentation and support during audit activities to facilitate smooth and efficient audits.
