About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Education team as a Teaching Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering educational activities and supporting students with their work
  • Provide individualized support to students with varying needs, including those with emotional behavioral difficulties, autism, ADHD, and associated difficulties
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans and behavior support plans
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system
Requirements
  • Previous experience supporting in an education setting, preferably with students with special educational needs
  • Level 2 qualification or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., education, child development, or a related field)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
