Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Disability Support Practitioner. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.

About the Role
  • You will deliver personalized support in a group home setting, helping clients to achieve their goals and live independently.
  • Assist clients at mealtimes, provide personal care, administer medication, and perform manual handling tasks using equipment and aids.
  • SUPPORT clients to engage and participate in their community, promoting social inclusion and empowerment.
  • Help clients make their own choices and develop skills for independence, encouraging self-reliance and autonomy.
  • Monitor the well-being of clients and report on their progress, ensuring that their needs are met and their quality of life is enhanced.
  • Provide transport support using our minivan, facilitating access to community resources and activities.

This is a part-time position available for a minimum of 3 days a week (20-25 hours). We offer flexible shifts across a 24/7 roster to accommodate your lifestyle and work preferences.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum).
  • Experience as a support worker in disability or nursing, with a strong understanding of individualized care and support principles.
