Senior Software Architect - Video Technology

We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Architect to lead the technical direction of our video technology stack.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for architecting and leading scalable, high-performance rendering systems and pioneering AI-powered video features. You'll work alongside talented engineers, tackling complex problems and pushing the boundaries of browser-based video creation.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building high-performance video and graphics rendering engines, deep expertise in video editing, composition, or similar creative software, and proven skills in scalable system architecture supporting millions of users.

In this role, you'll also mentor engineers and shape architectural standards for video technology, drive performance optimisation, and solve complex export cost and reliability challenges.

You'll be working on innovative features like AI-powered effects and advanced international language support, ensuring seamless, professional-quality experiences for millions worldwide.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience building high-performance video and graphics rendering engines
  • Deep expertise in video editing, composition, or similar creative software
  • Proven skills in scalable system architecture supporting millions of users
  • A track record of technical leadership in video or digital content creation tooling
  • Experience with cross-platform development and engine consolidation
