Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety legislation and company policies across the site. This includes developing, implementing, and monitoring site-specific safety procedures and protocols.

Additionally, the candidate will conduct regular risk assessments, recommend mitigation strategies, and coordinate and lead incident investigations. Proper documentation and follow-up actions will be ensured.

The Site WHS Coordinator will deliver WHS training and inductions to new and existing staff members and collaborate with the Engineering & Manufacturing department to address safety concerns.

Key performance indicators will be monitored and reported on a regular basis. The incumbent will act as the primary point of contact for all WHS-related matters on-site.



Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A relevant qualification in Workplace Health and Safety or a related field is essential.
  • Proven experience in a WHS role, ideally within the FMCG industry, is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of WHS legislation and compliance requirements is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for liaising with teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in incident investigation and risk assessment processes is required.
