About the Role:

Purina is seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to oversee the efficient allocation of equipment and resources for seamless inbound and outbound processes in our warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely planning to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Ensuring compliance with vehicle load weights and driver fatigue laws
  • Coordinating timely deliveries and maximizing truck space utilization
  • Attaining dispatch plans for export and receiving orders from Customer Service
  • Filing documentation and performing data entry for operations documents
  • Coordinating planning and transport, and updating Woolworths orders in the Transportation Management System (TMS) daily
  • Ensuring compliance with vehicle load weights and meeting customer delivery times within legislative requirements
  • Fostering a customer-focused culture and addressing customer service failures promptly

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, including electronic Warehouse Management System (WMS) systems
  • Customer service orientation and understanding of supply chain relationships
  • Proficient in project management and knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards
  • Ability to effectively manage contractors and experience in return to work and injury management
