As a theatre technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality service and patient care while contributing to the overall efficiency of the operating suite.
- Support clinicians and team members with patient preparation and mobilisation.
- Ensure all operating suite equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Provide safe and efficient patient transport within the operating suite and between departments.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A Certificate III in Theatre Techniques qualification or higher.
- At least 12 months' experience as a theatre technician in an acute operating theatre setting.
- Strong understanding and application of medical terminology.
- Ability to effectively operate and set up medical devices.
