Assistant Operations Manager

Lead a team of operations specialists to ensure all operational procedures and visual merchandising standards are met. Develop and empower store teams to execute operations to a high standard.

  • Manage the end-to-end stock management process to ensure the store is always in an optimal stock position.
  • Ensure the store meets OH&S standards, keeping team members and customers safe at all times.
  • Manage the store's entire inventory (live, non-line and collateral).
  • Lead all stock takes and analyse results to provide recommendations on how to improve both the process and our stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with Loss Prevention requirements, supporting team members' comfortability in applying these concepts on the floor.
  • Manage and execute all visual merchandising of the store.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in operations, with at least 1 year managing teams in a retail environment.
  • Demonstrated ability and passion for leading and motivating a team, driving operational excellence and delivering on sales and KPI expectations.
  • Strong stock and non-stock operations knowledge, with the ability to empower store teams to ensure effective and consistent operations across the store.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
  • A meticulous attention to detail and passion for problem solving.
  • Familiarity with process optimisation - highly desired.
