About the Role

As a Wine Waiter at Carlotta, you will be part of a dynamic team that shares a passion for Mediterranean cuisine and hospitality. You will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their experience is memorable and enjoyable. Whether you're an experienced Wine Waiter or a FOH hospitality professional eager to learn more about wine, we welcome your application.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of our wine list, including pairing suggestions and recommendations.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and other waitstaff to ensure seamless service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and inventory management.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience as section waitstaff in a premium restaurant environment.
  • A keen interest or demonstrated passion for wine, with a desire to develop your knowledge and skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, and opening/closing shifts.
  • WSET certification or similar (advantageous but not essential).
