Aboriginal Youth Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team and provide high-quality support services to Aboriginal children, young people, and their families.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver culturally appropriate psychosocial, family, peer, and other support services to at-risk clients.
- Provide mental health assessments and interventions that cater to the unique needs of Aboriginal children, young people, and their families.
- Develop and maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with organisational policies and requirements.
- Deliver individualised case management services to Aboriginal clients, focusing on their social, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and mental health needs.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners to ensure effective service delivery.
- Certificate IV, Diploma or Bachelor in Mental Health or progression to formal qualifications in Mental Health.
- Aboriginality is a genuine role requirement.
- Demonstrated experience working with addiction or mental health with young people.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position.
