About the Role:
We are seeking an Electrical Apprentice to join our team at Visy Board Yatala. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will be immersed in the world of manufacturing, working closely with maintenance, production leaders, production workers, dispatch, and our senior leadership team.
The Opportunity:
- You will learn on site and go back and forward to continue your TAFE education over the years.
- Upon successful completion of the programme, you will be a qualified Electrician; highly capable and experienced working with and programming automated machines, robotic AGVs and PLC systems.
- Please note we are very happy to also receive applications from year 2, 3 or 4 apprentices as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Active participation to learning, initiative and driving your own outcomes.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols.
- Attendance, reliability, and punctuality.
- Teamwork and Collaboration.
About You:
- A key interest in mechanical and electrical with an ability to demonstrate relevant examples.
- Ideally you will have some experience working in a production or industrial environment. You may have worked in a factory, logistics or industrial environment as a worker.
- Completed your HSC.
- Highly proficient computer skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong time management skills, with a flexible attitude and willing to adapt.
- Current drivers' license and own transport.
