At Workskil Australia Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Employment Coach to join our team.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, ongoing position based at Armadale. The successful candidate will be responsible for case management of an allocated caseload of up to 80 customers with a prior offender history, with the objective of finding them employment.
The role involves case management with a focus on improving the customers' capacity to work by stabilising non-vocational issues and building vocational skills and experience.
Key responsibilities include undertaking 'reverse marketing' of customers to suitable employers and running group-based job search sessions to motivate and promote further job placements for customers.
We are looking for a dedicated professional who possesses a genuine passion for recruitment and working with those in need, an ability to meet individual targets, and a strong commitment to contributing to a positive site team culture.
Key Responsibilities- Case management of an allocated caseload of up to 80 customers with a prior offender history;
- Improving customers' capacity to work by stabilising non-vocational issues and building vocational skills and experience;
- Undertaking 'reverse marketing' of customers to suitable employers;
- Running group-based job search sessions to motivate and promote further job placements for customers.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum Certificate IV in Employment Services or Career Development or willingness to study;
- Experience in Employment Services or a related Service industry;
- Strong administration skills and IT literacy, data entry, and typing skills;
- A minimum typing speed of 30 WPM.
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with skills and experience, negotiated on appointment.
In addition, as a public benevolent institution, we can offer a portion of the salary through tax-effective salary packaging.
We also offer a 9-day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week, providing a great work-life balance.
