We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Infrastructure Specialist to lead our team in Victoria, AU.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage technological and manufacturing infrastructure systems.
- Improve production processes, oversee equipment design and operation, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Design and develop manufacturing infrastructure, including assembly, operation, and maintenance of equipment.
- Prepare detailed layouts, drawings, or sketches of machinery or equipment using drafting equipment or CAD software.
- Determine materials specifications and develop procedures for efficient material use.
- Oversee product production to meet minimum quality standards.
- Monitor fabrication processes, especially automation production.
- Analyse resources and workforce utilisation using statistical methods.
- Monitor raw material usage and suggest cost reductions.
- Develop processes to recover, recycle, or reuse waste or scrap materials.
- Verify weights, measurements, counts, and calculations.
- Ensure data integrity and create testing procedures.
- Identify errors and develop corrective actions.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher-level qualification in a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing infrastructure development.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual skills.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- High-level understanding of manufacturing systems and processes.
