About the Role

The Roy Hill company is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Superintendent to join their team in Perth. As a key member of the Inventory team, you will be responsible for providing inventory management services to ensure the optimal supply of material to the Roy Hill operations.

You will report to the Manager Inventory and be responsible for the management and development of people, systems, and processes to ensure supply and timely availability of parts to support optimal availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Material Phase Out and Phase In process
  • Review and manage Maintenance work orders for weekly maintenance, minor and major shutdown events
  • Monitor the return of unused stock and rotable materials to the warehouse
  • Monitor replenishment of stocked materials and report on those with no stock on hand
  • Manage team MRP monitoring and vetting of PRs, requesting PR approval with justification for purchases over $100k
  • Manage team daily MRP exception messages and take corrective actions to prevent over and under ordering of materials
  • Provide continuous insight into supplier's progress towards meeting purchase order requirements
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or manufacturing/maintenance planning with SAP material management and Plant Maintenance experience
  • Substantial experience in supply chain or asset management
  • Supervisory experience highly desirable
  • Demonstrated combination of training and vendor engagement, warehouse or inventory management experience
