Forklift Operator/Storesperson

We are seeking experienced forklift operators and storespersons to work in busy manufacturing companies on the Gold Coast.

This is a physically demanding role that requires regular lifting, bending, and kneeling. You will need to be self-managed, reliable, and able to work independently.

The ideal candidate will have a valid forklift licence, at least 2 years' experience, and warehouse or stores experience. They will also need to be physically fit, able to communicate clearly, and adhere to all safe working principles.

  1. Valid forklift licence and at least 2+ years' experience;
  2. Warehouse/Stores experience for Yatala location;
  3. Manual Labouring/Yard Hand for Ormeau location;
  4. Be physically fit and capable to complete manual tasks;
  5. Able to communicate clearly;
  6. Self-managed and reliable;
  7. Own reliable transport as public transport is not available in these areas;
  8. You must be able to follow and adhere to all safe working principals;
  9. Available for an immediate start;
  10. Be able to commit Monday to Friday for an immediate start;
About This Job

This position is responsible for operating forklifts and managing inventory in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will possess excellent physical fitness, communication skills, and the ability to work independently. A valid forklift license and relevant experience are essential requirements for this role.

Key Responsibilities

The Warehouse Laborer - Forklift Operator will be responsible for:

  • Operating forklifts safely and efficiently;
  • Managing inventory levels and tracking stock movements;
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace;
  • Collaborating with other team members to achieve production goals;
  • Performing manual labor tasks as required;
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A valid forklift license;
  • At least 2+ years' experience in a similar role;
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift, bend, and kneel regularly;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Reliable transportation; and
  • Availability to work immediately.
