About the Role

As a Massage Therapist with Southern Cross Care, you will be working proactively to support clients in accessing services that maximise their independence and improve their health and well-being.

The role involves delivering safe and effective massage therapy for older people, including those with multiple chronic conditions. You will also contribute positively to multi-disciplinary care planning for our clients.

We are looking for someone who is highly resilient and passionate about supporting clients towards better health. The successful candidate must hold a minimum Diploma Qualification in Massage Therapy Practice and current registration with either Association of Massage Therapists or Massage & Myotherapy Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based health, wellness, and reablement therapy to community clients
  • Contribute positively to multi-disciplinary care planning for our clients
  • Demonstrated experience in person-centred practice, service continuous improvement, evidence-based treatment, and service delivery
  • Engage in case conferencing and problem-solving of complex care needs
  • Proactively deliver evidence-based reablement pathways that ensure client physical, social, and mental health benefits
  • Demonstrated willingness to increase your personal skill set

About You

We are looking for individuals who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients. Estimated Salary Range: AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
