As a Transport Operations Leader, you will oversee daily transport activities at our Tullamarine site, ensuring a safe working environment and maintaining compliance with operational standards.
- Supervise and support the day-to-day Night Shift operations, ensuring adherence to work allocation, driver schedules, and service metrics.
- Ensure all Safety & Compliance requirements are met and aligned with the operational plan.
- Monitor and assess transport Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring service levels are achieved.
- Manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with cartage contract and FoxLink requirements.
- Conduct daily and weekly reconciliation of assets, including inventory, pallets, and transport equipment.
- Optimise payloads to achieve commercial returns, implementing strategies for route and schedule success.
- Coordinate daily resource planning activities to align with forecast and budget plans.
- Collaborate with subcontractors to meet seasonal requirements effectively.
Required Skills:
- Prior experience in a leadership position within the Transport/Logistics sector.
- Ability to lead and nurture a high-performing team with confidence.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and methodical with diverse system proficiencies.
- Self-motivated to accomplish and propel results.
