We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Ecologist & Senior Ecologist to join our team in NSW. As an Ecological Consultant & Senior Environmental Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-profile projects and collaborating with our passionate cohort of terrestrial and aquatic ecologists.

You will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of conservation, impact assessment, and monitoring projects across various vegetation types, including chenopod shrubland, grassland, wetland, forest, and woodland communities. Our team operates in partnership with clients, land managers, and state government bodies, providing a dynamic and challenging environment for your growth and development.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience conducting vegetation surveys in NSW, with strong ability to develop and build upon client relationships from a similar consulting role. Biodiversity Assessment Method accreditation and experience in preparing technical reports, including BDARs, BCARs, BSSARs, Referrals, management plans, and other reports are essential.

You will also be skilled in botanical identification, with experience using dissecting microscopes and identification keys. A willingness to travel and work in remote areas, as well as liaise with clients and approval authorities on complex projects, is necessary. Commitment to high-quality and technically robust deliverables, along with the ability to work under pressure to tight timeframes and within budgets, is required.

A bachelor's degree or higher in Science with a Botany, Ecology, or Environmental Science major is essential, and a current full NSW driver's license is also required. If you are a motivated and experienced professional looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply.
