### Opportunity Overview

Huon Aquaculture Company is seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Fish Health Manager. This position will play a crucial part in establishing the company as a leader in fish health, welfare, and biosecurity.

### Key Responsibilities

* Lead the Fish Health team with impact, fostering a positive and collaborative environment, and delivering clear direction.
* Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating strategically to achieve organizational goals and fish health targets.
* Analyze data to address challenges, offer strategic recommendations, and present findings to stakeholders effectively.
* Apply a solution-focused mindset in a dynamic environment to support decision-making and prioritization.
* Manage budgets and control project costs associated with fish health initiatives efficiently.

### Requirements

* A veterinary qualification is desirable but not essential.
* Proven experience or tertiary qualifications in a science or related field, with strong technical knowledge of fish health.
* Demonstrated capability to influence, coach, and manage teams effectively.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
* Proven experience in proactively planning initiatives and establishing clear objectives.
