Job Title: Infrastructure Development Director

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure projects, shaping the region's future.

  • This key role involves overseeing project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring timely, safe, and high-quality outcomes.

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in infrastructure development, with experience in managing large-scale projects from inception to completion. They will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills, backed by tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction management, project management, or related fields.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing end-to-end project delivery, including site activity and contractor performance
  • Administering procurement, tendering, contract management, and reporting functions
  • Representing the Superintendent's office on major projects
  • Providing strategic insights and reports to executive teams and project sponsors

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects in Australia, preferably in local government or similar sectors
  • Strong hands-on experience in construction delivery, with ability to manage projects on-site daily
  • Excellent stakeholder and contractor engagement skills, backed by tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction management, project management, or related fields
  • Current White Card and Victorian Driver's Licence
