Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HD Mechanic to join our team, providing technical assistance and support to our customers in the mining and construction industries. As a key member of our team, you will be trained on our new 793 New Gen (793NG) fleet, both practically and theoretically, to work autonomously and within a team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance and support to customers in the mining and construction industries.
  • Work autonomously and within a team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Utilize computer software programs, including CAT SIS + ET, to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Apply safe systems of work and implement risk control measures in the workshop and field.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Australian Recognised Trade Qualification - Mobile Plant Technology is essential.
  • Minimum 18 months post-trade experience.
  • Experience on C-175 Engines and 793F equipment is essential.
  • Ability to work autonomously and with customer work groups.
  • Sound diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • High level of literacy.
