Portfolio Specialist Job

We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Specialist to join our IPS team. The successful candidate will support portfolio management/construction functions and effectively communicate recommendations to advisers and clients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the investment process by providing input into product lists, managing multi-asset investment strategies, and assisting with daily portfolio management tasks.
  • Provide analytical and qualitative support to portfolio design and new model development.
  • Collaborate with the portfolio manager and broader IPS team to maintain quantitative and qualitative analysis for portfolio decisions.
  • Manage relationships with key fund managers, advisers, and develop new models and solutions.
Key Requirements
  • Data analysis, investment reporting, or consulting experience within asset management, research firms, dealer groups, or funds management is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong quantitative research skills, including data analysis and asset allocation analysis.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with proven task management and meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments.
  • In-depth understanding of investment markets, asset classes, and portfolio construction.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of building client relationships and providing clear, actionable insights.
  • A collaborative approach to working independently and within team settings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Pastion for finance, investment, and continued professional development.
