About This Role

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive the advancement of Indigenous research and innovation at our institution.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy to expand and elevate Indigenous research across our university, fostering partnerships with Indigenous communities and external stakeholders, and championing the integration of Indigenous research principles across our governance, planning, and curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a bold, future-focused Indigenous research strategy that aligns with our university's goals and values.
  • Acelerate the growth of Indigenous research capacity by designing and delivering transformative development pathways for Indigenous staff and HDR students.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Indigenous communities and external stakeholders, ensuring co-design, Indigenous governance, and reciprocal engagement are central to our research practices.
  • Promote the integration of Indigenous research principles across our university's governance, planning, and curriculum.
