We are seeking an experienced kitchen staff member to join our team at Novotel Devonport, a 4-star waterfront hotel in the heart of Devonport.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled individual to work as part of a dynamic team, delivering high-quality food production and exceptional customer service. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring consistent great food production, efficient plating, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all food preparation and presentation meets the highest quality standards
• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
• Assist other departments as needed, promoting good working relationships and teamwork
• Report any maintenance, hygiene, or hazard issues promptly
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation
• Meet all health and hygiene requirements, demonstrating a passion for traditional and modern Asian cuisine

Requirements:

• Experienced kitchen staff member, preferably with knowledge of South East Asian Cuisine
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
• Motivation, energy, and drive, with a passion for learning and growth within the business
• A culinary artist with attention to detail and ability to deliver consistently high-quality food under pressure

What We Offer:

• An attractive salary of AUD $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience
