Business Systems Analyst Job Description

The role of the Business Systems Analyst involves identifying, analyzing, and validating the needs of project stakeholders. This includes collaborating with IT teams to deliver software solutions and participating throughout the software development lifecycle.

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular updates to team leads and project managers on the status of projects.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between users and IT teams to ensure smooth communication and resolution of issues.
  • Communicate changes and enhancements impacting data, workflow, and functionality to stakeholders.
  • Analyze application problems and work with IT teams to resolve them.
  • Troubleshoot system problems and coordinate resolutions with relevant parties.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in designing and developing complex business systems.
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis practices and techniques.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
