Senior Veterinarian Opportunity

This role presents a unique chance to shape the veterinary team's dynamics, working closely with our practice manager to make a lasting impact on our thriving clinic.

We take pride in delivering exceptional animal care and continuous education. Our well-established veterinary clinic has been a community staple for years, boasting a team of experienced veterinarians and nurses. We host educational events for clients, schools, and the community on animal welfare topics and are dedicated to enhancing animal care standards.

Our typical day features 2-3 veterinarians on duty, supported by 4-5 skilled nurses. Emphasizing ongoing development and education, we have weekly team development meetings, providing access to leadership development programs and partnerships with leading veterinary training centers offering a wide range of courses to support your continued learning.

The location is a beautiful, up-and-coming suburb situated just 12km north of Melbourne's CBD, close to shopping centers, hospitals, great schools, cafes, restaurants, markets, parks, and leisure centers.

  • A generous salary package of $120,000 - $150,000 plus superannuation based on experience
  • Relocation assistance available
  • This position can be tailored to 30-38 hours per week, depending on your preference
  • Guaranteed surgical days twice per week, 8am - 5pm with 4-5 booked surgeries per day currently
  • Consultation shifts 10am - 7pm (our clinic operates Monday to Friday 8:30am - 7pm, Closed on weekends and public holidays)
  • Staffroom with kitchen and laundry facilities, dedicated lunch break
