Job Title

A career in health and wellbeing awaits you in this role where you will play a proactive part in planning, implementing and maintaining programs that drive safety and wellbeing across our services.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and company policies
- Assist with the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at improving workplace health and safety
- Coordinate rehabilitation and return-to-work programs for employees who have been injured at work
- Support sites in managing risk and implementing control measures to prevent accidents and injuries
- Review and update occupational health and safety policies and procedures to ensure they are current and relevant
- Assist in developing tools and resources to support hazard identification and risk management
- Carry out audits to evaluate the effectiveness of our Work Health and Safety Management Systems and identify areas for improvement
- Coordinate health and wellbeing programs and employee assistance provider services to promote a positive and supportive work environment

Requirements

We seek professionals with:

  • Relevant qualifications in occupational health and safety, such as a Certificate IV or Diploma
  • Demonstrated experience in injury management and return-to-work coordination
  • Experience in hazard identification, incident investigation and risk management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff and stakeholders
