The Role

As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our national pricing strategy. You will be responsible for enhancing pricing models, analysing market trends and competitor activity, and undertaking complex analysis to drive insights that support strategic decision-making.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analysis of market changes related to costs, competitors, legislation and policy, and provide financial modelling to support strategic pricing decisions and margin optimisation.
  • Provide high-level analytical support and advice to relevant stakeholders across the business.
  • Enhance pricing models, dashboards and tools to drive business insights.
  • Identify process and system improvements to enhance efficiency and pricing agility.

Your Experience and Skills

  • Degree qualification in Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting or another numeric discipline coupled with a strong understanding of accounting, finance and legal principles.
  • Demonstrated experience handling large data sets in Excel (or equivalent) with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in business case evaluations and financial modelling, with strong commercial acumen.
  • Proven ability to identify strategic needs, leading to sound business recommendations.
  • Excellent presentation skills that encompass clear and compelling communications to key stakeholders, including senior management level.
