SalaryWe offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionThe Supportive Parent and Child Care Specialist will work closely with our team to provide intensive, individualized support to vulnerable young parents and their children. This role involves assessing and supporting young parents and their children to improve their emotional and physical wellbeing, as well as developing and delivering activities that promote children's safety and learning.
- Provide assessment and support to young parents and their children
- Develop and deliver activities that promote children's safety and learning
- Support parents to develop their parenting skills and build positive relationships with their children
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of a Diploma qualification in Human Services or a related field
- Demonstrated understanding of child protection and risk management
- Experience working with vulnerable children and families with complex needs
- Passion, commitment, and belief in young people's potential
