About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Formal Messaging Specialist to join our close-knit team in supporting customer messaging within the Defence strategic environment.

This role provides critical support for ongoing customer operations on a day-to-day basis, working closely with the Formal Messaging Team Leader.

An active NV2 Security Clearance is an essential requirement for this position.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Monitor servers, messaging queues, and gateways to ensure seamless communication.
  • Provide level one and two support for several applications, including creating, modifying, deleting, and maintaining user accounts.
  • Confirm successful and timely delivery of formal messages to customers via multiple methods.
  • Conduct onsite security-specific activities to maintain compliance.
  • Evaluate day-to-day activities against relevant security requirements, procedures, and standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through training and workshop delivery.
Requirements:
  • NV2 Security Clearance is mandatory.
  • Experience within the Defence ICT environment is highly valued.
  • Prior experience in Defence Communications Facility is preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to interpret complex situations.
  • Flexibility to work on a 24/7 roster.
