What does the role entail?

As a Disability Support Worker in our Holiday Program, your primary focus will be to assist and support individuals with disabilities during the holiday season. You will play a crucial role in ensuring their safety, well-being, and inclusion in all program activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate engaging and educational activities that help individuals achieve personal goals.
  • Support the development of social skills and confidence among participants.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals with disabilities.

What we are looking for:

  • Legal right to live and work in Australia.
  • A genuine passion for the disability sector.
  • Experience in the Disability Services Sector is preferred, but we welcome newcomers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and reliability in your work approach.
  • Commitment to fostering life skills and providing care to individuals with disabilities.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Current NDIS Worker Clearance Check.
  • International Police Check if applicable.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
