Exciting Opportunity for a Detail-Oriented Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our Centre Management team as an Accounts Assistant. This role requires a resourceful professional with a solid background in accounting and administration to provide essential support to our finance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver day-to-day administrative support to the finance department, ensuring seamless operations and efficient workflow.
  • Oversee accounts receivable, tenant invoicing, and debt management, including account reconciliations, to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Process accounts payable, data entry, and maintain organized electronic filing systems and databases to ensure compliance and data integrity.
  • Manage lease documentation, conduct rent reviews, and gather necessary data to support business decisions.
  • Handle accrual accounting, bank reconciliations, and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • Assist in preparing detailed weekly and monthly reports for senior management, providing valuable insights into financial performance.
  • Execute general office duties, including answering phone calls/emails and addressing tenant and contractor queries, to provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (MRI, Xero, MYOB) is advantageous.
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced), with skills in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service abilities to build strong relationships with tenants and contractors.
  • Adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a positive, problem-solving mindset.
