Launch a Groundbreaking CFD/FOREX Brokerage as Director

We are seeking a visionary Director to spearhead the launch and growth of a cutting-edge CFD/FOREX brokerage in Australia. Backed by seasoned investors and a robust technology foundation, this start-up aims to revolutionize the trading experience through innovative tools, transparent pricing, and exceptional support.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic leader to take the reins, shape the business, and drive its regulatory, operational, and growth journey. As Director, you will oversee the full lifecycle of launching and scaling a licensed CFD/FOREX brokerage, fostering a high-performing team along the way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company's go-to-market, growth, and revenue strategies in the CFD/FOREX space.
  • Licensing & Compliance: Ensure seamless acquisition and maintenance of AFSL or appropriate licensing; guarantee ongoing compliance with ASIC and global regulations.
  • P&L Ownership: Manage financial performance, cost controls, and long-term profitability.
  • Team Building: Recruit, lead, and inspire a cross-functional team to achieve business objectives.
  • Market Positioning: Champion the brand and product offering; establish a strong market presence in Australia and beyond.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with investors, regulators, technology providers, and key business partners.

About You

  • Proven experience at MD, Country Manager, or Senior Executive level in a CFD, Forex, or multi-asset brokerage.
  • Strong understanding of ASIC regulation, financial licensing, and compliance frameworks.
  • Track record of launching or scaling trading or FinTech businesses.
  • Established industry relationships across liquidity providers, tech vendors, marketing channels, and regulatory consultants.
  • Commercially savvy, with a focus on client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset – comfortable with ambiguity, driven to build, scale, and innovate.
