Western Power is a leading provider of electricity services, and we're excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Lineworker to join our team at our Northam Depot.

Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Lineworker to construct and maintain our transmission and distribution electricity network. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the integrity of the network, providing safe and reliable electricity supply to our customers, and adhering to all applicable guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct and maintain transmission and distribution network infrastructure according to design specifications and construction standards.
  • Rectify faults promptly and isolate the network for repairs to maintain the integrity of the network and minimize customer impact.
  • Execute programmed construction and maintenance work to ensure safe, reliable, and affordable operation of the network.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in ESI - Power System Distribution Overhead (essential).
  • Valid WA 'HR' Class Drivers Licence.
  • Demonstrated industry experience in the construction and maintenance of the distribution electricity network.
  • HOU and LOU Switching is highly regarded but not essential.
