Senior Property Damage Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior property damage lawyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex and high-value claims, with excellent technical knowledge and negotiation skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the direct point of contact for clients and manage their large-scale and complex matters.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and assessments to identify potential causes of loss and determine the extent of damage.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to resolve disputes and negotiate settlements with insurers and other parties.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share expertise and best practices, and contribute to the development of firm policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in property damage law, preferably in a senior or leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of Australian insurance laws and regulations, including the Insurance Contracts Act and the Marine Insurance Act.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proven track record of successful claim resolution and settlement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
