Job Description

The Operations Capital Project Coordinator role involves functioning within a team environment in planning, execution, and delivery of capital, space and renovation projects.

Responsibilities And Essential Job Functions
  • Demonstrates competence in critical thinking, interpersonal relationships, and technical skills.
  • Assists Operations Project Managers by gathering and organizing data to analyze operations, logistics, and financial information for optimal resource utilization and timely goal achievement.
  • Monitors scope, budget, and timeline for assigned capital projects as directed by the Operations Project Director.
  • Collaborates with Operations Project Managers to initiate approved capital projects.
  • Notifies end users of project approvals and prioritizes projects in collaboration with Operations Project Managers.
  • Coordinates primary quote submissions to the capital acquisition process by contacting vendors and reviewing configurations with end users.
  • Collaborates with Operations Project Managers to coordinate all elements of the capital authorization process.
  • Administers e-Builder systems for assigned areas and maintains Capital Tracking Sheets.
  • Tracks procurement activity for construction projects and assists Project Managers in monitoring scope, budget, and timeline for assigned projects.
  • Assists Project Managers in monitoring delivery and installation for projects in assigned areas.
  • Coordinates weekly schedules reflecting anticipated capital deliveries, critical meetings, and due dates for major project milestones.
  • Participates in space management and implementation as assigned.
  • Performs professional, clinical, and technical competencies as required by the assigned unit or department.
Required Education And Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business, or Management or equivalent experience required
Preferred Education And Experience
  • Administrative and/or supervisory experience preferred
  • Three or more years of healthcare experience preferred
Knowledge Requirements
  • Strong computer skills required
