About Banjo's Corporation

Baking one of the oldest professions in the world, bakers have been in existence since ancient times – and who doesn't love the smell of delicious bread being baked Banjo's are keeping the tradition alive, with a modern twist, in our innovative Australian bakery chain founded in 1984.

We are well known for our delicious pies, pastries, and coffee and are disrupters in our market, ready to shake up our competitors in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry. We are fast-tracked for growth and poised to expand at a rapid rate over the next few years. It's an exciting time to be part of our team Our success is not just for our benefit as we also have a strong community focus.

We are looking for the following positions to become part of the Banjo's team at our Devonport store.

  • Sales Associate
  • Senior Sales Associate

The Opportunity

  • Exceeding our customer's expectations with fast and friendly service.
  • Leading by example, consistency, and communication to inspire staff to achieve more.
  • Producing and serving high-quality foods, drinks, and coffees.
  • FOLLOWING Banjo's established Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) practices to ensure you and your team are always safe at work.
  • Be prepared to work across a range of shifts - Banjo's stores operate 7 days a week, our sales team work between the hours of 4am (starting time) until store close at 7pm (finishing time).
  • Be available for weekend and public holiday work as part of the role.

About You

  • You will have a positive attitude and love working as part of a team.
  • You take pride in merchandising the café products.
  • You have experience in providing excellent customer service.
  • You are reliable, organized, and a good communicator who can support other team members in a great team environment.
