About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Senior Smart Metering Operations Manager to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of smart metering services to our customers.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Mentor and lead a team of smart metering technicians and specialists to deliver high-quality installations and final reviews of jobs
  • Conduct audits and sign-offs to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive a healthy and safe working environment

Requirements:



  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in smart metering or a related field, with a strong background in leading and mentoring teams
  • Relevant tickets and licenses, including Electrical License, White Card, First Aid, LVR CPR, and Testing of Connections to LV
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Knowledge of electrical vehicle charging and emerging technologies is highly regarded
