Apprentice Fitter Machinist Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on individual to join our team as an Apprentice Fitter Machinist in Brendale QLD.

This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically minded, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to build a trade career with experienced mentors. You will work in a well-equipped workshop or learn on the job, with no two days being the same.

About the Role

As an apprentice at Nordon Cylinders, you will be part of a tight-knit, supportive team that genuinely values your development. We will invest in your learning through structured training and on-the-job experience, all within a business at the forefront of the hydraulic industry.

The products we manufacture include round-line welded construction hydraulic cylinders, produced in one of the most modern and best-equipped cylinder manufacturing facilities. Our product range incorporates Australia's widest stock range of high quality cast steel mountings, supported by a market leading catalogue, and client access to 3D modelling.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant Mechanical Trade (essential)
  • Previous experience in the machining of hydraulics (desirable)
  • Ability to measure and work from samples (highly regarded)
  • Ability to complete clear and accurate reports and documentation
