About the Role
This role is part of our dedicated team providing exceptional postnatal care to women and their families. As a Midwife, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care in our Public Postnatal unit.
The Mater Mothers' Hospital is a leader in maternity and newborn services, offering a highly collaborative environment where you can adapt easily to meet the requirements of this postnatal ward.
- Providing postnatal care with a high volume of normal and complex cases.
- Making a valued member of a team committed to delivering exceptional midwifery care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering postnatal care that meets the needs of patients and their families.
- Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A current registration with AHPRA and midwifery endorsement.
- Demonstrated high levels of communication and clinical problem-solving skills.
- Evidence of continuing educational and professional development.
- Commitment to continuous improvement in healthcare and nursing practice.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
