About the Role

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with individuals who face complex barriers to employment, providing them with tailored support and guidance to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of candidates with diverse needs, identifying potential barriers to employment.
  • Develop and implement personalized plans to address these challenges, using a range of therapeutic interventions and strategies.
  • Liaise with medical professionals and community agencies to ensure seamless coordination of services.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on psychological services and procedures.

Requirements

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology with eligibility for registration with APHRA or relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Counselling with eligibility to gain membership with ACA / PACFA.
  • Experience working within employment services is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of psychology assessment and intervention strategies, as well as exceptional communication and engagement skills.
  • Ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports, and generate positive outcomes for clients.
