Passionate Mathematics Educator Wanted

We are seeking a skilled mathematics teacher to lead our students in Years 7-12. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for teaching and learning, with the ability to develop engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and students. They will also demonstrate a strong understanding of the Australian Curriculum and be able to assess student progress, adjusting their teaching strategies accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the diverse needs of students
- Assess and provide feedback on student progress, adjusting teaching strategies accordingly
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the improvement of teaching practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills
- Experience in responding to student learning needs and developing targeted interventions
- Ability to plan and implement high-impact teaching strategies and evaluate student learning growth
- Experience in monitoring and assessing student learning, using data to inform teaching practice
- Interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships
- Behaviours and attitudes consistent with Department values, with a commitment to ongoing professional learning
