Job Title: Senior Commercial Analyst

We are seeking a talented professional to join our commercial and financial analytics team in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Canberra.

  • You will work closely with clients to solve complex problems and provide strategic insights.
  • Partner with teams on budgeting, forecasting and market comparisons to drive business growth and optimise spend.
  • Review and improve financial processes and governance by identifying disconnects, redesigning workflows and providing actionable recommendations.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • At least 2 years' experience working in an internal or external consulting environment or technology supplier focusing on financial management, commercial modelling and business analysis.
  • An understanding of technology finance and/or pricing mechanisms is essential.
  • Superior communication and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of data.
  • Advanced Excel modelling (including Power Query) and PowerPoint skills.
  • Data visualisation skills using tools such as Power BI.
  • Experience with Python and/or Python-in-Excel is highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as Finance, Business Management/Commerce, Information Technology, Actuarial/Statistics, Computer/Data Science or Economics. CA or CPA qualifications are also highly desirable.
