Cabinet Maker - Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team at Job2Go Pty Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting custom cabinetry, installing high-quality fittings, and ensuring precision in all aspects of cabinet production and installation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cabinet Construction: Craft custom cabinets according to specifications and design requirements, ensuring accuracy in measurements and assembly.
  • Installation: Install cabinetry, countertops, and other fixtures on-site, ensuring they fit and function as intended.
  • Material Handling: Select and cut materials such as wood, laminate, or other mediums used in cabinet making, ensuring minimal waste and cost-efficiency.
  • Finishing Work: Apply finishes, including painting or staining, to completed cabinets and fixtures.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products for precision, ensuring adherence to the company's quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with designers, project managers, and other team members to ensure client expectations are met.
  • Tool Maintenance: Maintain and care for the tools and machinery used, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Health and Safety: Follow workplace safety regulations to minimize accidents and hazards during production and installation work.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III or IV in Cabinet Making
  • At least two (2) years of proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role.
  • Proficiency in using tools such as saws, planers, routers, and hand tools.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
  • Physical stamina and strength for lifting materials and installation work.
  • A keen eye for design and the ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
