Key Account Manager for ANZ Region

This role involves managing key retail accounts across Australia and New Zealand. As an account manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and ensuring brand excellence in-store execution.


Role Impact:
  • Drive Retail Success & Brand Execution: You will manage sell-out performance, drive visibility, ensure flawless in-store execution, and build a strong brand presence across all touchpoints.
  • Relationship Leadership: You will act as the day-to-day brand ambassador and lead contact for our retail partners, building trusted relationships and delivering excellent support to ensure brand alignment and shared growth.
  • 360° Account Ownership: You will manage the business holistically owning forecasting, stock management, education, events, and commercial growth strategies. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to execute activations, in-store training, and marketing campaigns that fuel consumer engagement.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring exceptional service and alignment to commercial and brand goals.
  • Develop and execute annual business plans for each retailer, focused on sales growth, visibility, and in-store excellence.
  • Deliver sell-out performance through effective merchandising, retail education, marketing activations, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Act as a brand ambassador at major conferences, retailer events, and education sessions—engaging teams with product expertise and brand storytelling.
  • Own retail training and event planning in collaboration with the Education Team—ensuring store staff are confident and equipped to represent the brand.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop accurate forecasts, manage PO timelines, track inventory and replenish efficiently.
  • Lead regular business reviews with key retailers, identifying opportunities, addressing challenges, and securing future growth.
  • Manage registration requirements in both markets, ensuring product launches and regulatory timelines are met.
  • Prepare regular reports on performance, competitor activity, and market dynamics.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in sales, account management, or retail management—ideally within the beauty, wellness, or FMCG sectors.
  • Proven track record of growing retail businesses and delivering against KPIs in Australia and/or New Zealand.
  • Strong understanding of the ANZ beauty retail landscape, including Sephora, Priceline, Life Pharmacy, and pharmacy and department store channels.
  • Confident and engaging presenter with excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable leading retail training, in-store events, and external meetings.
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
  • Positive, proactive and collaborative, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Willingness to travel domestically across Australia and New Zealand as needed.
